Northcoast Research at its core is built around our unique research process. Everything we do flows into and out of this research process. The process is unique because it is constructed upon a proprietary base of industry sources that has been cultivated and assembled over decades of work by the analysts of our firm. These industry sources provide us with the data, information and insight to piece together an accurate assessment of current business fundamentals for the industries and related companies we follow. We develop our industry sources through consistent and rigorous channel checking of a company’s suppliers, distributors, competitors and end users to name just a few. Once our checks are completed and the data assembled, we will apply it to our proprietary earnings models to make earnings projections and ultimately investment conclusions to assist our clients in their stock selection process.
