Skylight Financial Group is a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) and represent other fine companies. Founded in 1851, MassMutual established an office in the Cleveland area in 1886. Since then, it has grown and thrived – surviving wars, depressions, recessions and changing market conditions.

As a mutual company, MassMutual does not have shareholders. Instead, its policy owners and members share in its ownership. This generally means if you are insured under a MassMutual whole life insurance policy, for example, you are a member entitled to vote for the Company’s board of directors and may be eligible to share in dividends the Company may declare.
